How It Works
Follow these three simple steps:
1. Shop Around. Review the list of products we offer at wholesale rates located below.
2. Request an Electronic Wholesale Catalogue. Our Wholesale Catalogue is a PDF containing product information, wholesale pricing, terms & conditions, and more. Email your Catalogue Request with the phrase “wholesale information” in the subject line of your email. You will receive a PDF version of our Wholesale Catalogue via email within 3-5 business days.
3. Place your order. Follow instructions in wholesale catalogue to place your order.
Wholesale Eligibility Requirements
Our products are available at wholesale prices for reselling purposes only. In order to qualify for our wholesale program, you must fill out our Wholesale Application on which you will be asked to provide us with a registered resale certificate number and/or provide your reason for purchase, and meet our minimum order requirements.
Wholesale Program vs. Fundraising Program
In addition to our Wholesale Program, we also have a Fundraising Program, which offers groups the opportunity to raise funds while promoting Fair Trade. Unlike our Wholesale Program where resellers purchase chocolate and craft items in advance and re-sell them, our Fundraising program is designed for Fundraisers to collect orders of Fair Trade chocolate before actually purchasing the chocolate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is eligible to purchase Global Exchange products at wholesale rates?
Anyone whose Global Exchange Wholesale application is approved is eligible to purchase at wholesale rates. All approved wholesale customers within California who do not provide a valid Reseller’s # on their application will be charged CA Sales Tax.
What is the difference between the Global Exchange Wholesale Program and Fundraising Program?
There are two main differences:
1.Our Wholesale Program includes Fair Trade chocolate AND crafts, while our Fundraising Program includes chocolate only.
2. In our Wholesale Program, you purchase the items up front, for the purpose of reselling those items for profit. In our Fundraising program, you collect orders of Fair Trade chocolate before actually purchasing the chocolate, and then compile those orders into one order that you send to us along with your payment, before we fulfill your order and send the chocolate to you.
How long does it take to receive my wholesale order once I place it?
Once your order and complete paymentare received and your application is approved, your order will ship within 7-10 business days. For expedited shipping options, please call 800-505-4410.
Do you have a paper copy of your Wholesale Catalogue?
Our Wholesale Catalogue is an electronic PDF, and we do not offer a paper version. We aim to be as paperless as possible in an effort to conserve resources.
Is there a minimum order for wholesale orders?
Yes, for new orders our minimum order is $250 and for re-orders, our minimum order is $200.
Does Global Exchange offer Net terms so we can pay after we receive our order?
Not at this time. As we progress with our Wholesale Program, we are hoping to offer Net Terms to those who qualify in the future. On the wholesale application, we’ve gathered all of the necessary data we need so that as we grow our Wholesale Program if we are able to extend Net terms to those who qualify, we will already have the necessary information on file.
What happens if something I order is out of stock?
If something you order is Out of Stock, it will be put on backorder and we will do our best to notify you.
Do you offer products on a consignment basis?
No, not at this time.
Are all Global Exchange Fair Trade Online Store products offered at wholesale rates?
No, not all of the products offered on our website are offered at wholesale rates. The only products that we offer at wholesale rates are the ones we purchase during our direct buying trips to various locations around the world. Though we are admittedly starting off small, so to speak, with just a limited selection of items, as time goes on, we are hoping to expand our wholesale offerings considerably.
